What You Need To Know


Boy Scout Winter Camp

Tracy Winter Camp provides an overnight winter activity for Boy Scouts and Venturing Scouts.  Participants can stay in one of the nine Tracy bunkhouses or choose to brave the elements in a tentsite (provide your own tent).

Activities begin Friday evening with dinner followed by a variety of outdoor winter activities including tubing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.  The rifle range is also open.  For those who want to escape the cold, our excellent woodcarving corner will be open or you can building a model rocket to be launched from the frozen surfaces of Taylor Lake in the morning.  Friday evening activities conclude with our campfire program in the warmth of the Tracy Lodge.

Saturday begins with breakfast followed by the opening of our activity centers.  Rockets will be launched from Taylor Lake mid-morning.  The program concludes with lunch.

FEE & REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

$35 per person, includes 3 meals

$10 per person additional for cabins - please go to the options tab when registering to select cabins or tentsites

Full payment is due at time of registration. Registration for the 2018 season begins October 2nd, 2017. See Leaders Guide for Refund Policy.

 

Cub Scout Winter Camp

Tracy Winter Day Camp for Cubs and Webelos offers a chance to enjoy the winter season in Millcreek Canyon. The Tracy Tubing Hill is a highlight of the day camp experience, along with BB guns, snowshoeing and new program activities. Your registration fee includes a hot lunch prepared by our staff. 

FEE INFORMATION:

$30 per boy includes lunch 

$10 per leader includes lunch

If you register within a week of camp then the cost is $30 per boy and $10 per leader. Please review the refund policy in the leaders guide. 


CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

All fees for the 2018 Great Salt Lake Council (GSLC) camping season are FULLY REFUNDABLE & TRANSFERABLE up to 2 weeks prior to the first day of the session for which tickets are reserved. If being transferred, the tickets must be used during the 2018 GSLC camping season. Refunds that are being requested within 2 weeks of the first day of the session for which the tickets are reserved will be fully refunded minus a $10.00 cancellation fee.
