Tradition. History. Fishing
Since the 1930’s, Camp Steiner has been a destination for Scouts all across the United States. At over 10,000 feet in elevation, it is the highest camp in the country with some of the most spectacular views that can’t be found anywhere else.
The notoriety of Scout Lake has spread like wildfire among troops because only the bravest Scouts will take on its chill willingly. Not of a fan of swimming? You’ll need to give the fishing there a try! This lake is constantly stocked by hundreds of fish so you’ll always know you’re bound to catch something.
