College of Commissioner Science
The first question to ask yourself as you begin to register is whether you are interested in seeking the various nationally recognized degrees that are available from the Great Salt Lake Council College of Commissioner Science. If you are new to commissioner service, the Bachelor track is always the best place to start, even if you do not plan to seek higher degrees. If you are in an LDS stake Young Men’s or Primary presidency, we strongly urge you to take the Bachelor track as it teaches the things you most need to know to fulfill your scouting responsibilities for your position in your stake. If you have already obtained your Bachelor degree in a prior year, you may choose either to continue to seek higher degrees or to take courses that you think will best suit your needs in the expanded Continuing Education offerings. Either path you choose offers great classes to improve your commissioner abilities.
The 2017 College of Commissioner Science will be held on Saturday February 25, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake University Institute, 1780 E South Campus Drive.
