100 years of camping in Millcreek Canyon. Can you believe it? Thousands upon thousands of Scouts over these 100 years have attended Cub Country, worked at Webelos Camp, or brought Scouts to Camp Tracy.
So let's celebrate the great work that has been done by camp staff over the years!
Join us on August 4th, 2018 for our Alumni Camp Staff Centennial Celebration!
Should you have any questions, please do not contact the Great Salt Lake Council Office. Click any of the names listed below to connect with someone in charge of this event.
Who can attend?
Have you worked at any Cub Country camps, Webelos camps, Camp Tracy, or any other camp that occurred in Millcreek Canyon over the past 100 years? Well, you are welcome to attend! (Your immediate family is invited as well.)
Be sure to pass this around to your friends too so they can also join us.
What to expect?
4:30pm to 6:00pm - Potluck dinner (Layton Lodge)
6:00pm to 7:00pm - Campfire program, presented by current & alumni camp staff (Layton Lodge Amphitheater)
7:00pm to 8:00pm - Visit the camps (All of Cub Country, Webelos Adventure Hollow, & Camp Tracy will be open to visit. Please be courteous as the camps will have just been cleaned as part of closing camp by the 2018 MCC Staff.)
What to bring?
A side dish or dessert for our potluck, please.
We will also ask for donations to help cover the cost of the activity. Whatever you feel is appropriate to contribute is appreciated. $5.00 is the recommended minimum per person.
What to wear?
While it would be awesome to see everyone in a camp staff uniform or BSA class A uniform, we recognize that not everyone will have these readily available. Please wear what you feel most comfortable in.
Do you have a story to share about being part of camp staff in Millcreek Canyon? A favorite memory perhaps? We want to hear it! Share it with us down below & we will be sure to feature it at the event.
