Food Insecure. The term sounds pretty clinical, but to thousands of Utah kids who go to school without breakfast or to bed without supper, it’s known by another name: Hunger.
Along with the Boy Scouts of America, you can do something about it.
On Saturday, March 16, 2019, starting at 9:00am, members of the Boy Scouts of America across our state will be knocking on doors to collect your donations of canned foods including meats, canned fish and peanut butter. Their goal is to collect over a million pounds of food in a couple of hours that morning. This will help families who are “food insecure” to have something that is hard to have when you’re hungry: Hope.
We look forward to having your help. With Scouting for Food, you can make a difference.
